Abstract:
The paper summarises the activity of Polish regulatory authority in the field of improving safety of research reactor operation. It is done by several different activities, for example in the process of issuing operating licence, approving changes in operating instruction and technical modifications, verification of operating reports and on-site inspections, etc. Many examples of such activity are included in the text. The regulatory authority has almost 30 years of experience in this field and it may be of interest for similar institutions in other countries.
